Overview

Lunex uses a small number of cookies and browser-storage entries. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking or third-party analytics services. This page lists everything the site itself sets, and the one third-party service that may set its own.

Essential cookies

These are needed for the site to work and cannot be switched off in Lunex.

  • lunex-sessionKeeps you signed in. Set when you log in; HTTP-only (not readable by page scripts), sent only over HTTPS, and expires after at most 30 days or when you sign out.
  • NEXT_LOCALERemembers the language you chose so links without a language prefix open in it. Expires after 1 year.

Browser storage

Some preferences and identifiers are kept in your browser’s local or session storage rather than in cookies. They are not sent to our servers automatically.

  • lunex_display_currency (local storage)The display currency you picked for showing estimated prices. Kept until you clear it.
  • lunex-traffic-visitor (local storage)A random ID used to count unique visitors to a slot’s pages for that seller’s statistics. It is not linked to your account and contains no personal details. Kept until you clear it.
  • lunex-traffic-session and lunex-traffic-last-activity (session storage)Group page views on slot pages into a single visit. Cleared when you close the tab.
  • lunex:onboarding:…:payment-method (local storage)Remembers an unfinished choice while a seller is setting up a new slot.

[TO CONFIRM with counsel: the slot-analytics visitor ID is not strictly necessary for the service. In the EU/UK (ePrivacy rules) and some other markets, storing it may require prior consent. Options: add a consent prompt, make the analytics ID session-only, or rely on an exemption if counsel confirms one applies.]

Third-party services

  • Cloudflare TurnstileRuns on the sign-up and sign-in forms to check that you are a person. Cloudflare may set its own cookies or storage while the check runs; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy. [TO CONFIRM: exact cookie names set by Turnstile.]

Our error-monitoring provider does not set cookies on your device.

Managing cookies and storage

You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie you will not be able to sign in; if you clear local storage, your display-currency choice resets and you will be counted as a new visitor on slot pages.

For how we handle the data itself, see the Privacy Policy. Questions: open a ticket through Support.
